Don't you just love the new Quality Street advert on telly?
Which sweetie is your favourite? Personally I love the purple one with a hazelnut in caramel.. oh but then I love the green triangle ... oh but what about the gold toffees... oh darn it! how is a hopeless chocoholic supposed to choose JUST one ?!

Definitely the green triangle but the purple nut one is a close second. Years ago my Dad bought one of the really huge tins for us to have at Christmas when my two cousins were staying. The two of them, my Sister and I took the tin, tipped out the contents and then put them back in layer by layer with the good ones at the bottom going up to the boring toffees at the top. We mingled the tops ones up a bit so the adults couldn't really see the layers. So every time the tin went round we children would dip down to the bottom knowing our favourites were there and the adults just took from the top. Around New Year Dad announced that he fancied a green triangle and that there must be some left as he hadn't come accross any yet! Unfortunately all the good ones were gone! We did get in trouble!
And there's me trying to lay off chocolate, well at least until Christmas. I have bought a tin of Quality Street for my dad to devour over Christmas, my step-mum will be in Australia, so he could in theory eat the whole tin to himself, she would never know! We think very alike Michele, I like the purple caramel/nut, the green triangle and the orange crispy one, every now and again I treat myself to those jumbo size ones you can buy, usually only get 3 for a £1, if you're lucky. I am not so keen on the toffees and the creams, but of course like any chocoholic I will eat them if needs must. What a good idea this post is, it is going to be interesting to see what the all time favourite is? x
What a SWEET commercial (no pun intended - ha!). I had to watch it twice to realize it was done with all pieces of candy - AMAZING! We always sell Quality Street at our cookshop during the holidays, but sadly this year our order was not fulfilled. We have plenty of turkish delight though (my favorite). =)
great wee video, my favorite is the strawberry, the toffe is always left in the tin until my hubby comes in , then they dissapear, like magic......

We opened our tin of Quality Street at work today, I had a green triangle, a block of chocolate and an orange crispy one, unfortunately I was being watched, so I couldn't pinch another one before I came home! x
