Zippity Doo Da !

Oh what a glorious day... the sky is grey and the ironing pile is making a small mountain in my kitchen... BUT.. I am feeling so buzzy and alive today!...

Reasons being...

1.Parcels are ready to go.. packed twice due to unobliging courier who won't take BIG parcels... never mind.. they are going today. .... Yippee !!!

2. I have been waiting days for Louise's Craft Challenge Day at Beachy's Cape Cod Cupboard... today is the day and I have created this wedding vignette from the photograph that Louise offered for the challenge.. Unfortunately I couldn't fit the whole wedding photo in the frame so some of the guests were left out... sorry!
I have printed it on to Linen and embellished inside the frame with buttons, beads, charms, flowers etc...It was great fun taking part and I am really excited to see what the other challengers have created ...go visit Louise at BCCC blog and see for yourself!

3. Spring is springing in our garden.. the snowdrops are out, the daffs are well on the way and there are a multitude of bulbs popping up... remember me planting them back Nov ? It seems an age ago and yet a blink of an eye.. but they will be here in all their glory in the next few weeks bringing some colour and life back to my waterlogged and lifeless garden.
This photo was taken last summer but I hope it looks just as good this year if not better..

4. I slept well last night... the best night I have had for ages.. I am a terrible sleeper and wake easily to lie and fret about numerous monsters that visit my mind in the dead of the night... last night I slept like a baby and it makes all the difference.
This is one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever slept in... last summer in Tuscany Italy ..

5. I have just heard the most wonderful news... it is going to snow on Friday.
I know we have been here before and nothing happened but I naively believe the smiling weather lady this time...
So it's time to find the old tennis rackets and convert them into snow shoes... is it not !?

6. Master chef is on telly tonight... we are all hopeless addicts in our house.. even Pickles enjoys his viewing of the culinary variations of fish dishes..

Tiramisu.. my favourite .. eaten on a warm sunny terrace in Tuscany last summer.. bliss!

7. I finally got round to listing some more items in my web shop yesterday..something I have been meaning to do for ages.
This Home Sweet Home is just one of my new cards...

Well these are all reasons why I have a skip in my step today and I am a very happy bunny indeed.. I hope you are too for all sorts of reasons..
Have a lovely day Y'all!

Hi Michele
That's a wonderful mountain of reasons to be happy! So pleased for you that the cards are all parceled up. Tiramisu and Tuscany, a match made in heaven! I'm off to check the weather forecast!

Yep, we are Master chef addicts too, amazing how expert we are at judging food we would not even attempt to prepare. And what is it with asparagus? Why do they all seem to think that cooking a simple expensive vegetable will win? Don't get me started...

Hi I've come back again, just doing the washing up when I realised that I didn't mention your wedding challenge for Beachy, it is beautiful!

Snow, what really? I hope so, bet it doesnt get to Cornwall. I love your challenge frame, that is my favourite colour combination at present. Tiramisu, yum, really want to get to Italy, I know I'd love it. And all those cards, off to be enjoyed by their recipients. And we love Masterchef. All those Reasons to be Cheerful, one, two, three...

Wow, loads to be happy about. I love the photo of your garden last summer. For a moment I mis-read and thought it was how it looks now and that you live in some sort of little tropical eco-system in Bath! Probably because I am trying to quickly eat my lunch, while blog reading before getting my nose back to the grindstone. Am now feeling I want some Tiramisu for my pudding!

Yep, it's the Spring in the air causing all these positive vibes:) Bet you are glad to see the back of those huge boxes! Job very well done, now for some r & r ?
As for the snow, well I hadn't heard ....wouldn't be surprised now that we've been teased with some sun and all.........

Glad you had a good night's rest - I am exactly the same way. I think I've slept through the night only once since having children!

Hi Michele~~ Wayyyy to go! Yee haw, yippie ki-yai-yay!!! You did it! I can feel your pain having not knowing if you counted the order correctly - wince!

I love Tiramisu, too, second to Creme Brulee'. yummers!

Michele, you outdid yourself on Beachy's challenge. The box is incredibly gor-geous with all of the carefully place flowers - and oh! the birdies!!! Toooo cute for words! Love the ring and bird on the frame!!! Where do you find time? Oh, I forgot, you don't sleep! I can see why! My husband is like you and wakes up with his brain humming at 100 MPH! Take Valerian root - an herb that will help calm you at night.

love to you!!!

Good Morning (Afternoon for you)! =) I am so happy to hear you had so much fun with this challenge and met new bloggers in the process! I am going to host another one in March - I will look through the album for another fun photo to work with (all these challenge photos are coming from the same vintage deco-ear album I purchased from a dealer in England). I was just so upset I had to work on mine while my house was in such a tizzy with all the kids home! lol The first challenge I made a journal with all the bells and whistles! =)

Hi Michele,
Lovely to read you happy positive post - its certainly infectious you know!
It must be a huge weight off your shoulders to have despatched the huge order - well done you.

I love what you have made for Louise's lovely challenge - maybe you should start selling similar frames on your website!

Fingers crossed for some snow - I don't need to be anywhere - so it will be wonderful to sit and watch everything become buried in a white blanket.

Keep skipping Michele,
Love Niki x

Hi Michele, ooh fab frame, it's gorgeous!
Really pleased to hear you have finished the cards, what an amazing job to have completed and you should be really proud of yourself to have done it so quickly.
We don't get much TV signal here so Masterchef is not on the menu for us today, having to make do with a DVD of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth (oh the hardship, can I bear it?). Chat soon, Liz
