If I am correct.. I think this is my 60th post and I find that extraordinary considering I nearly fell at the first fence!
I remember a very hesitant hand .. hovering over the 'Publish' button on the 14th October as I teetered on the threshold of Blogdom! That seems a very long time ago but really is a blink of an eye.. and it has been a wonderful journey to where I find myself today.. tapping out more musings and finding I have loyal and friendly followers. I just wanted to say...
actually a much admired blogger Louise@Home is where the Heart is... has already said it so well... what a wonderful institution this world of blogging is... it brings together mutual friends and is a wonderful way of sharing these snapshots of our lives..
I am hopelessly addicted to blogging and can't imagine a day without reading about your lives and loves and losses and lots of other words beginning with L...
The most significant revelation for me is the way I look at life now... I feel a real sense of who I am and how people perceive me and I am much more observant of my surroundings these days..
OOOer... I seem to be getting a bit Malcom Muggeridge...
I shall go and seek out that naughty mince pie now that is beckoning me from the kitchen..
Think I've said enough for one day... Let's go play....

Congratulations on your 60th post and thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. I've really enjoyed reading yours, really lovely and I completely agree with with all you say about blogging. I've discovered a whole new world and some lovely people. Best thing I've done for years!
Looking forward to popping back very soon.

I love blogging Michele, I am on the brink of it becoming an obsession, but I have given up on a lot of TV and reading magazines, so I have to do something to relax. I have also checked with J to see he is not feeling neglected, he reminds me that he has got Sky Sports to keep him amused. When I put my first post on my garden blog, I really didn't think I would get a single comment, how can people find you I thought, then a few days later, ping, a comment arrived, I was so chuffed that someone had gone to the trouble, and once you get one the others start to roll in. One thing I have noticed, is how much in common I have with many of the people who have found my blog, even down to personal insecurities etc, is this just a coincidence or do you think there is some strange force at work here, have you found this too? Anyway I have been very good this evening, just drinking tea, I have one mince pie left in the tin, and I have resisted, well those black trousers have got to fit me by Saturday for my first meal of the festive season, I can't have too much muffin top hanging over the waistband. Have you got a Sainsburys near you, I bought some of their instore bakery mince pies, they are lovely, I shan't be making any this year, after a dusting of icing sugar, these will pass as home-made! x
Congrats on being 60 - you started on my daughter's birthday! I really enjoy visiting your blog so thank you for starting.

congratulation on 60 posts. and well said about blogging. i love that i have "met" so many people through my blog and others. i have been thoroughly enjoying yours since i found it.
Congratulations on your 60th blog...I'm on my fifth!
I've had a similar cough to yours - went on for weeks. My mother-in-law (80 and still counting) put me on to a mix of equal parts cider vinegar/lemon/honey. Mix it up well and take it whenever you need it. (I use it when it's too soon for the next dose of cough mixture.) It tastes pretty revolting but it seems to work and cider vinegar has other healing qualities too!
WOW, Michele,
You are such a prolific writer! Amazing!
Enjoy your play time,

What great news!

I love blogging too its very addictive and very lovely!

I'm impressed you reached 60 posts so quickly, well done GF.I enjoy your blog, thanks for giving us such lovely posts to drool over. I don't post as often as I'd like, but always have time to catch up with my favourite blogs, yours included.
Hi Michele, 60 posts! that's impressive. Isn't it funny how so many of us were nervous about starting a blog, and now there's no looking back! Keep up the good work, your posts are a joy to read.
best wishes,
Lucy
Congratulations on your blogging achievements! Its amazing what goodness blogging can bring isnt it. I must admit when I started I never expected the sense of 'belonging' to something before, and sharing such great interests.
I love this frame.. x
Happy 60th post, sorry I seemed to of miss a few, because of fairs, colds and a paintbrush of the wrong sort (white oil paint not watercolour)
I am so glad that you have kept up with blogging. I would miss you too much if you stopped.
Hugs,
Carol x
