Remembering Mum....

I came across this photograph yesterday.. it was taken over 20 years ago.. on a beautiful summer's day .. under the apple tree in my parent's garden..
This sudden discovery.. brought back a flood of memories.. of moments shared with my beloved mother.. a day of laughter and smiles as we played Trivial Pursuit under the shade of the tree..
I have many precious memories of my mother... she left me with a wonderful legacy.. a happy childhood filled with a constant, unconditional love ...I would give anything to return to that summer's day to share some more ..

To all mums on their special day...

Happy Mother's Day Mum...xx

Michele
Your post coincides with my tribute to my own mother. She passed away 14 years ago on Mothering Sunday. I just didn't realize the British significance of the day back then. She, too, left some wonderful memories. What a loving tribute to your mum.

Michele what a lovely memory. I don't think mum's leave us either, they stay around protecting us. My OH is 100% certain that his parents look after all of us.

I'm sorry I have been absent so long. I know you miss your mum so much. She lives on in your heart though dear Michele. You are such a kind spirit and I think ou get so much of it from your mother. Even though I didn't of course know her.

hugs to you!
Love, Dana and Daisy

What a touching post! I loved the way it inspired me to visit my mom who lives just up the road. Sometimes we take those we love for granted. Thanks for keeping me honest.
