Just a little green....

Today was a day to embrace the elements, the warmth and friendliness of the sun and indulge oneself with a bit of grubbing in the dirt..
The first to show their pretty faces are these tete a tetes....
Lenten roses...so delicate and shy...with their heads turned towards the ground..

Rabbits are a bit of a theme in my life as you can tell...
It did me the world of good to be out .. out in the air.. the elements.. the birdsong amongst the first colours of Spring..
Happiness is ...dirt under the fingernails and an aching back!

So if feeling blue... get out in the green!

You are quite right!
It's been a really lovely few days and the sun certainly cheers one up, when one is feeling a little blue ;-)

You have BEAUTIFUL flowers! You must be so inspired by Spring! We had warm enough weather yesterday to finally start raking our gardens. I raked our largest flower garden and noticed that once I removed all the leaves, we FINALLY have some crocus and daffodil bulbs which have started to emerge from the chilly ground. =)

Lol..ing.. so glad you did make it out Michele! the pictures are lovely.
We are going to have a bbq this evening, now can you believe that !
I felt so cheerful today, being out in the garden. Popped to the garden centre this afternoon for some pansies! tried to get some Yourkshire Tea in the local shop as well, but they did not have any! I could not face the supermarket.
Looking forward to seeing more piccies of your lovely garden.

You have lots of lovely flowers in your garden. Mine is nearly all shrubs - something I need to rectify! I think I will get out in 'the green' tomorrow.

I bet lots of us were out in the garden today! Miss C & I spent about 3 hours sweeping, weeding, pruning & tidying. I had a few arguments with my huge old rose bush - it didn't want it's branches cut so it stuck thorns into me at every opportunity.
The chickens got lots of grass to eat & I had to have a break to wash Lucy after she decided to roll in some disgusting smelly fox poo! Eeew!

Hi Michelle! Hasn't it been a lovely day? We had lunch outside, and I too was in the garden this afternoon, taking photos of pretty much the same flowers as you! Have a good week. D x

Lovely photos Michele. I also did some gardening today but only about an hour. I also had a walk along the beach this morning but it was very foggy and there were lots of fog horns sounding.

Beautiful photos Michele. This is where I would have liked to have been today, instead of cooped up in that office! I popped out at lunchtime and sat on a bench with a sandwich and a Costa to go! It was so warm and sunny and I was loathed to get back to work! I am so glad you had some time outside today, although pamper that aching back of yours. x

What pretty cheery photo's, I love being outside now..........Loved seeing your photo's of CL. I went last Wednesday and was in my element. Acorn and Will is one of my favourite stands - I bought a 1970's doll's pram from her and I did infact pick up that very bunny which is in your photo - how strange! Roll on Nov's fair!

Beautiful pictures of spring flowers. Funny how spring can make us all happy. It arrived here on Friday. Thanks for your email! Don't ever say sorry for being late to answer, because I always am!

By the way, what variety is that clematis - if it's flowering now then it's a top addition for spring! Emma x

Beautiful pansies ....such a delicate colour ! I've just opened an envelope from one of my daughters ( I can never wait for anything ) and inside was a very pretty Mother's Day card . When I read the back , it dawned on me that it was one of yours . I shall wear the badge with pride !
