Fingers, Toes and Eyes ....

All of these will be crossed for tomorrow's G.C.S.E results..
This goes out to all the parents who have spent anxious months, weeks, days and hours guiding your children through this minefield of learning ...
Good luck to all the students who are bracing themselves and living on tenterhooks..
Not forgetting the long suffering tutors too!!!

Is it really TOMORROW!!!!!! C has spent the past few days pacing up and down working out where and when she is going to open the envelope.... I have everything crossed for her (and that's no mean feat). Good luck to H and all the others who are finding the next 24 hours just a tad too nailbitingly stressful

We have another 2 weeks till our L goes back so it is a mad rush for school shoes (bought late just in case her feet grew another size before starting in September) and same for school trousers - she won't wear skirts.

I still remember the sunny September day when she first started school 3 years ago. I was dreading it and sobbed buckets till my husband bought me a jack russell puppy to keep me occupied.

Good luck to all new babes going to school for the first time tomorrow and congratulations to all Mums for their long suffering patience during the tortuous long summer break!

I hope the results were all that your Son wanted them to be. Being married to a teacher of GCSEs, AS and A Levels I can understand the stress of waiting for those results. And I can remember it well myself. I was the first year of GCSEs. That makes me feel old!
