House at Pooch Corner ...

It is that time again..
well.. almost..
In 3 days time.. I will be packing the old jalopy with this motley lot...and heading for the town of Chipping Sodbury, where the 4th Vintage & Handmade Fair is taking place in the town hall.
My faithful family of vintage pooches will all be up for adoption.. and even the throne they are sitting on.
There is a breed to suit all tastes.. Terriers, Spaniels, hounds of all shape and size..and a few feline friends too.. even a horse on wheels.. much cuter than the Trojan Horse.Luckily they all get on famously..Otherwise fur really would fly!
Thanks to this excellent local site Family Soup and several others.. the fair is firmly on the map now and I do hope that you will be able to come along and join the happy throng..
Just bring a purse and a smile.
Look forward to seeing you there..!!

I'm afraid Dottie. as you well know, that I shall not be able to come along and neither will my purse, but can I send you lots of smiles and good luck wishes and custard creams instead? My how pretty are your pooches missus, I'm sure one or two of them would enjoy a little paddle down by the seaside...
Oodles of good wishes for hte big day

We can have our own little animal rescue in your corner of the hall!
I hope all prospective adopters are checked up first to ensure loving new homes!

Oh - I wish so much I could make it but being all the way East in Ipswich, it is impossible. Have a great day and profitable one too

I imagine that your event will attract throngs of fans. How I wish that a wide ocean between your land and mine is my excuse.

I would so love to be able to visit one of these fairs!

Best wishes for a fabulous sucess.

Hi Michele,
Can't wait for Saturday - Thanks to you and Jayne for all your hard work with the organisation.

I'm more of a putty-tat fan, but could be persuaded to adopt a pooch when they're all as cute as yours...

I'm heading into Bath later this evening to pick up daughter No.1 from the train station...Haven't seen her since Xmas, so can't wait...

See you Saturday,
Niki xx

Oh that dear little puppy in the middle of the bottom image! I'm certain her will be snapped up.

All best of fair-y thoughts for the coming days.

I had to laugh at your mention of inebriated spiders. In this household our eight-legged friends are all called 'Mr Skinny Legs.' Perhaps more appropriate would be 'Mr Ginny Legs.'
