Thoughts and sentiments...

Flowers courtesy of Mother Nature... Bunny courtesy of Milly..

"The most noteworthy thing about gardeners is that they are always optimistic, always enterprising, and never satisfied. They always look forward to doing something better than they have ever done before." - Vita Sackville-West

Oh I couldn't agree more!

I wish you all a wonderful Easter weekend ... some time in your gardens to just sit and enjoy.

What wonderful flowers, so so pretty ... methinks the bunny looks very much at home. We have a raindrenched day here and have spent a very soggy afternoon admiring the gardens of a NT property and seeking out those Easter bunnies ...
Have a wonderful weekend mon amie, Hope you get a chance to don your jodphurs and boots and stride around your garden in true Vita style

Pavlova waiting for you, just got to make the raspberry sauce

Have a happy Easter with your family too Michèle!

We have the best weather of this year so far. No jackets, a lot of too short skirts and too fat legs at the market. Somehow I love that. I do hope we are in the same high pressure area, so you can enjoy your garden too. p

Happy Easter Michele. I don't think I will be spending much of the weekend out in the garden if today is anything to go by. It couldn't be any more miserable and drizzly! I will just have to stay in and eat chocolate!

Happy Easter to all the Cowboys & Custards!
I'm quite annoyed that the weather is so miserable - you know how much I want to get the front garden sorted out now.
I'll just have to eat chocolate instead!

Hello Michèle,

I very much like your flower display.Very fresh looking. Garden flowers are the best in my opinion. Agree with Vita Sackville-West. I have visited her gardens in Sissinghurst, Kent. I love the white garden in particular.
I wish you a very Happy Easter.

If it would ever warm up long enough I could enjoy my garden. However, the broccoli and beets are thriving. I need to take a lesson from them! ha ha

Gorgeous little vase full of spring you have there Michele. Great quotation too - it's absolutely true here - my mind's forever full of plans for our little plot. Today I was dreaming of a little lilac tree.

Have a wonderful Easter

Hello Michele,
Me agree too!
I did buy that book after we spoke about it, the print is sooo small that it has put me off a bit from picing it up!
I have been busy busy in my gardens, new lawns down and lots of new lovley plants to put in.
It has been great to be outside.
CLeared my head!
Have a wonderful Easter with your men.
Much love,
Carol xx

I adore your blog! The colors are wonderful and your photos make me smile. The flowers are so sweet with the Easter Bunny beside them.

Happy Easter from the Pacific Northwest in the USA. It's raining and grey here, but it's Easter!

I'm a novice to all this, but feel rather inspired by your beautiful blog...I love the colours and the brightness, and am completely hooked by the new lives the old toys are now inhabiting.
Thanks
