OOh.. so sorry... I have been somewhat waylaid in announcing the results of my recent giveaway..
I invited you to tell me what sort of book you would write and the inspiration behind it...and you did tell me in many wonderful ways which I so enjoyed reading and sharing with you..Thank You!
The story that really struck a chord with me was from the lovely newly-wed Emma... her story of the little mouse who lived under the pier and had a tupperware box as a conservatory really appealed to me and I could see this lovely little character come to life.. so Well Done Emma.. now all you have to do is write it down!!!!! I look forward to reading the first edition of Joe's Mouse Adventures.
I will be back soon and I sincerely hope to catch up with you all who have been so kind to visit..

Congratulations to Emma! I am imagining that little mouse too now with his tupperware conservatory - I bet it would get hot in there!
Well done Emma, that sounds like a very sweet story, but yes, rather sweltering in his conservatory!
Thankyou Michele!
Looks like my little mouse will have to get his pen out and start scribbling!
The tupperware was a bit of a problem in the summer, but great in the winter whilst watching the sea crashing on the shore - cosy!
Hope your list is getting shorter.

Sounds like a best seller to me! Dx
Oh I am so pleased Emma won, I loved her story. It featured quite a bit in the wedding speeches too!!

Is it that lovely pastel coloured vintage tupperware I love so much I wonder?! When do we get to buy the first edition?! t.x
I think everybody appreciates it when you take your task as a judge so seriously. No hasty decisions, no hat, no random picking machine, but a profound judgement! Congrats to Emma! We will watch her from now, perhaps she is the new JK Rowling, now wouldn't that be fun?
I love that ribbon!

Hi
Thanks for the lovely comment. I think it should be compulsory to watch the video clip of Ken Robinson. There is one more clip that is very good too. It talks about lots of children being able to achieve degree level education and because there will be a glut of it that employers will be asking for a 'good phd' rather than just a phd! Therefore the creative side of someone to think outside of the box will be so important. I want to run a business called Out of the box running art classes for kids so they can see the bigger picture of the world etc - not exactly the right time to start a business when everyone is feeling the pinch though! Sums up my luck! Love Emma x
what a great idea for a story..inspired! Loving your chocolate box style wrapping Mrs C. Congrats Emma!
