Something's gotta give ..

...and I am afraid it is my blog.

I have been toying with the idea of running away to join the circus this week... as I have been honing my skills as a juggler!
Juggling life and all that it entails.
Today is just a typical day.. and I am only a fraction of the way through my list of 'must do's' .
So far I have...

Done two loads of laundry.
Made a small cauldron of vegetable soup.
Made a rhubarb cake
Started the job of wrapping 300+ greeting cards..

and that is only the half of it!

We all have busy lives and days that are getting shorter by the clock.. where does tempus fugit?

So please excuse my sporadic blog posts until I have climbed this small mountain and started the descent.

I am so grateful to every one of you kindly folk who have dropped by to say hello and leave words of friendship..

Thank you.. I will get round to you all.. but it just might take a little while..

Mxx

You're not alone, I am struggling too. I would be on my blog all day if I was being paid for it, or second best if I had a housekeeper! Don't worry if your posts become sporadic, we will all know you are very busy beavering away to run a home, look after a family and make a living, and juggle those three balls, all at the same time! Take time for a cuppa every now and again Michele. x

Hi Michele, no need to reply to my email, I had a feeling that you were up against it this week. You poor thing, it all happens at once doesn't it? No need to ever feel pressured about the blog, it's yours to do with as you wish. Make time to eat some of that yummy sounding rhubarb cake. Take care

Take it easy Michele, don't worry about blogging, we all have days where we feel like we're drowning.

Take a deep breath and rest the juggling arms.

We'll still be here when things calm down.

Hugs

Not to worry, Michele! We all need time away from our blogs. They are supposed to be fun, not dutiful. I almost pulled the plug on my blog last year, but after having taken a break for a couple of weeks, I felt much better. =) Happy weekend to you!

A funny thing happens when I look at your blog, I get my music and yours overlaying it. I had Geoffrey Oryema and Pink Floyd just now. I love both, but am not sure they sit well on top of each other! My blog has taken a back seat too, but they need to be for fun, not an extra thing to feel guilty about! Vanessa

Hi Michele, I might just be wanting to join that circus soon too! Have a break, catch up with yourself and we'll be here when you come back (unless we're on a break!)

I know how you feel Michele, remember your blog is for fun not another "must do" on your list....I don't post that often at the moment but it's nice to know it's there if I feel like having a natter with my blog "friends". Take a bit of time out, I'm sure before long you'll want to show us what you've been up to and we'll be here.

Hi!

Ok I think everybody has said it all: blogging and reading blogs should be fun, no obligation!

So I only stop to say Hi! and: Take care! and: have a nice weekend!

Good luck with it all Michele. Deep breath, large slice of rhubarb cake, mug of coffee....and begin!
Catch up with you when you are good and ready :)

Hi Michele, doesn't life just interfere with blogging, eh? I think we are all finding it increasingly difficult to juggle the things we have to do with the things we want to do and find a good balance.
My blogging has also become more sporadic, work is taking up such a huge chunk of my life that I am using what's left of my day to spend quality time with my loved ones.
I hope you manage to juggle everything without getting too stressed or dropping too many balls. With love, Liz

as far as I'm concerned you don't have anything to apologize for. You have a life and work and you should put that before any of us. Blogging should be a pleasure and not an obligation. I think we all thoroughly enjoy your blog which is why we visit but I certainly don't expect you to be here all the time. Please do the things in your life that need to be done, take time to enjoy family and friends, and we'll all be here cruising around waiting. Enjoy!!

I don't think there is anyone in the blogging community who can sympathize with how you feel. I know I sure can right now. It seems to be quite a common theme amongst the community. The upside is that when you do get a chance to post, its an absolute gem for the rest of us. We get to read what you've been up to while you were away, as well as feel the warmth when we see there is a new post. Best of luck and wishes as you scramble to keep up with life.

Hi Michele,
What a busy girl! - so you won't think too badly of me when I say I know I owe you an email, but I've not had a spare moment?!
I promise I will soon,
A cyber hug to you,
Niki x
(And don't forget that it's your blog and you should run it how you wish!)

Oh I so understand what you are going through. A good blogging buddy here hung up her hat because she is having the struggle of visiting and then dealing with day to day things. I have honestly thought about it, too, however it is an extension of friendships I would not have had had it not been for my blog. So, just take each day and do what you have to do and know that we will be here as your friend and visitors when you get around to it. I feel so terribly horrible when I don't get to visit everyone all of the time. Looks like you have your hands full!!!!!

Love ya,
Becky
