Ma Maman

I was recently reunited with a collection of family photographs taken by my father in the 1940's and many of them were of my mother and eldest brother. My father was a very keen amateur photographer.. thank goodness, otherwise I would not have these precious relics from my life to look at on a day like today.. and remember.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers everywhere.. past and present. xxx

Precious photos, Michelle, and now with digital photos we never have any printed off and that is such a shame. I am very fortunate that my mum is still alive (she is 85) and is in the very early stages of considering leaving Cornwall where she has lived for almost 50 yrs to be close to me (geographically). Big decision!
Have a wonderful day.

SO French. So glamorous. I am put to shame. I feel the need to manicure my nails and put on some proper red lippy. How did she do it whilst being accosted by a male toddler that's what I don't get?! She is a stunner! Such a treasure trove for you to enjoy.
Now, lippy, last seen in the shed being used for graffiti methinks.....

Lovely photos Michele. What a wonderful subject your mother must have been for your father's love of photography. I know you will do the right thing with these photos, and treasure them forever. x
